Flow Link:
The ultra smooth inner plates of the chain are completely edge-free. This reduces friction on the cassette and chainring. The result: low-noise performance and longer component life. The chain design allows for a narrower profile. This way, the chain is much more torsion resistant. Due to their smooth outer flaps, the riveting is more uniform and the tensile strength is higher.

Hard Chrome™:
The chain has a four times higher (wear) strength than the other SRAM chains. This is due to the new machining process for the inner links and rollers. Push pin strength and overall strength are equal to current SRAM chains. This chain lasts longer and is extremely stable.

PowerLock™
SRAM chain manufacturers have developed PowerLock™ as a tool-free, secure and consistent way to connect SRAM chains. Although PowerLock™ does not require any special tools for assembly, given the narrow tolerance range of a 10-/11-speed drive, each PowerLock™ should only be used once.

X-Sync™:
X-Sync™ 1x chainrings by SRAM provides the highest performance and durability. Long SRAM X-Sync™ tooth edges grip the chain earlier than standard triangular teeth. The sharp and narrow tooth profile as well as the rounded slanted edges support the chain guide: In order to offer the best possible performance even on muddy terrain, the X-Sync™ chainrings have recesses to remove dirt and mud for the inner chain links and rollers. German-made X-Sync™ chainrings are an important part of SRAM 1x drivetrains.
