WHY THESE INNOVATIVE PLATFORM ADAPTERS?

We designed these platform adapters at the B’Twin Village in Lille, France.
We came up with this innovative product by observing you and asking you what you needed. Our platform adapters allow you to instantly transform your sports bike into a commuter bike. It’s so easy and fun that you’ll be able to alternate bike travel and sport every day of the week!

HOW DO THE PLATFORM ADAPTERS ATTACH TO CLIPLESS PEDALS?

Our platform adapters attach to all models of cageless Shimano SPD-compatible clipless pedals.
For each pedal,
1/ Simply place the platform over the pedal
2/ By first engaging the back, then the front
3/ And while taking care to place the front part in the right direction (open tab towards the inside of the bike)
4/ Then lock the tab onto the platform in a single motion, with no effort at all!

A MODERN, EFFICIENT DESIGN

With their long lines, our platform adapters have been carefully designed to give your bike a modern touch.
Everything has been designed down to the slightest detail to offer the best possible experience:
-The locking tab is ergonomic and easy to use
-The contact surface is large, for greater comfort and good pedalling efficiency
-The shape of the lugs, inspired by the lugs on trail shoes, ensures a good grip.

USE AND ROBUSTNESS

The robustness of our platform adaptors (in particular the plastic lock hinges) has been proven in fatigue tests where we mounted and removed them, and in intensive usage tests.
However, unlike mountain biking platform pedals, they are not designed to cope with heavy impacts and extremely hard push-offs.
This is why they are only to be used for getting around town (on smooth, paved paths, or dirt or asphalt roads).
