The new standard for enduro tires: the Aggressor Folding Tyre by Maxxis

The Aggressor is designed for very fast, modern mountain bike trails. Advanced lug design provides additional grippy edges and reinforced side lugs offer increased stability in fast corners. An all trail tire suitable for everything from easy trails to difficult enduro tracks.

Note from the manufacturer:
Maxxis strongly advises against the use of ammonia-based sealant. Ammonia has been proven to attack the carcass and can weaken it by up to 30% after only a few months, depending on the amount used.
Maxxis recommends using Tire Plasma.

For the Dual Compound, two different rubber compounds are processed into one tread strip. The arrangement of the compounds is planned individually according to the desired properties of Maxxis tires.

EXO Protection
This extremely cut and abrasion-resistant material protects the sidewalls of various Maxxis MTB tires. It is very tightly woven, light, and very flexible. As a result, the performance of the tires remains convincingly good.

Wide Trail (WT):
This design optimizes the tread layout and tire shape on today’s modern wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrower rims and become square on wider rims, resulting in a less than optimal performance. WT tires are optimized for an inner rim width of 35 mm but work excellently on all rims with an inner rim width of 30 – 40 mm. Concerns tires with a width of 2.4″ and above.

Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tires have many advantages: you can ride with less air pressure. This gives better traction and reduces rolling resistance. And where there is no tube, the risk of punctures is reduced. Maxxis TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other ” tubeless ready” tires. The bead of the Maxxis TR tires is completely covered with a rubber layer like a real UST tubeless tire. As a result, tubeless mounting is successful for all rims with standard dimensions even during the first inflation and with little liquid.
