Technology:

Carbotecture SL®:
Material developed by Magura consisting of a high proportion of carbon fibres embedded in a thermoplastic matrix. More powerful, more tensile, more flexible and more break-resistant than conventional, fibre-reinforced plastics or laminated carbon fibre mats. Ideally suited for manufacturing using the Carboflow® process. An artificial word composed of carbon and architecture.

Carboflow®:
A process developed by Magura that allows carbon fibres to be optimally aligned with the direction of force. Produces homogeneous, calculable surfaces. Significant weight savings are possible as oversizing is not necessary. There are hardly any limits to the design.

HCT (Hard Core Tech):
Under the HCT program, which at Magura stands for Hard Core Tech and has its origin in Magura Powersport, Magura combines all developments and special detail improvements that are developed for racing or the highest demands. The HC brake lever for MT disc brakes was developed especially to optimise the ergonomic performance. The ergonomics of the shorter HC aluminium lever allows full braking power – safely with one finger. Danny MacAskill’s feedback and experience also went into the design and ergonomics.
