Entry-level trail braking power

With the MT Trail, Sport Magura expands its MT family and the successful MT Trail concept – four pistons at the front and four pistons at the rear. The system proved itself already with MT Trail Carbon especially for All-Mountain Enduro riders and at the increasingly demanded E-MTB sector. The MT Trail Sport was developed to continue this success at an attractive price-performance ratio.

The four pistons at the front deliver the highest braking power while the two pistons at the rear caliper guarantee perfect control. And the ergonomic design of the HC lever improves the braking performance of the whole system even more, and this securely by just using a single finger.

Technologies of the MT Trail Sport

Carbotecture®:
A mixture of high-tech polymers and carbon or glass fibers is transformed into a plastic granulate in several complex processes. During the processing from this granulate to the finished component, the carbon fibers are optimally aligned to the load requirements. With this Carboflow process, any desired shape can be produced from the granulate by injection moulding. Carbotecture® offers significant advantages over the classic lightweight material aluminum: Carbotecture® is 50 % lighter than aluminum with identical tensile and fracture strength, so it weighs only half as much.

magnetiXchange:
Magnetic pistons fit perfectly into the brake caliper, guaranteeing quick and easy brake pad replacement.

EBT | Easy Bleed Technology: Easy and fast bleeding.

Shift Mix (optional):
With help of the optional Magura’s Shift Mix lever clamps Shimano (Shiftmix 1 + 2 / I-Spec I + II) and SRAM (Shiftmix 3 / X9, X0, XX) triggers can be mounted directly to the brake levers in order to accomplish a tidier cockpit.

Remote Mix (optional):
Magura’s Remote Mix lever clamp allows the RCL² remote control of Magura forks to be mounted directly to the brake lever in order to improve ergonomics. Installation on both left and right possible.

Notes

The brake is delivered filled and bled. Please pay attention to the maximum disc diameter recommended for your fork/frame.

The brake is delivered without an adapter and without a disc rotor. These parts are sold separately.

The brake hose can be easily cut to the required length.
