Dispensing with rear suspension means less weight, while the distinctive form and colour give the bikes an unmistakable appearance. This uniqueness is also reflected in the handling of these bikes – manoeuvrable, nippy and agile.
The Twentyniner wheels offers distinctly more traction due to the fact that the bigger tires share a larger contact surface with the trail. For the same reason, they provide better cornering stability and less wheel spin during uphill cycling.

The new hydroformed aluminum frame ensures speed and agility at every track. It now comes with internal cables and 12×142 mm thru axle.

In this version, the Black Forest is equipped with a high quality Shimano XT/Deore 2×10-speed shifting components, which are precise and solid. The RockShox Reba RL suspension fork with 100 mm travel swallows almost every bump in the parcours and can easily be locked via OneLoc remote. With the hydraulic Shimano Acera disc brakes the bike stops when needed.
