The XR 1501 SPLINE® One’s 22.5 mm CrossCountry rim offers all the benefits of a modern CrossCountry rim. 2.5 mm more interior jaw width, compared to the predecessor model, increase the tire volume with the same tire width and provide more traction and comfort. The asymmetric rims improve the spoke angle, making the wheel even stiffer and more precise in handling. The specifically developed surface strengthening or gentle anodizing process provides an unsurpassed weight-to-strength ratio.

These spokes have two different diameters. The spoke is partially butted by cold forging. As a result, the diameter becomes smaller and thus enables a reduction in weight while at the same time improving the elongation values.
The screw locking system injected into the nipples enables the construction of extremely durable wheels.
The patented freewheel system with high-precision toothed washers guarantees maximum load capacity and reliability. Thanks to the no-tool concept, the system is very easy and fast to maintain.
The SPLINE® line features the new and lightweight Straightpull hubs with well-known DT Swiss technology, straight spokes and sturdy rims. The combination of reliable and perfectly matched components makes every SPLINE® impeller the perfect training and competition partner.
In order to achieve an ideal balance of weight and stability, many DT Swiss wheels use different forms of Straightpull spokes. Straightpull spokes do not need a bow and eliminate a weak point. Nevertheless, they can be centered and replaced with standard tools.
Predictive Steering is a stub axle standard developed by SRAM. Compatible DT-Swiss components are designed for maximum rigidity of the fork and the impeller while maintaining a low weight. This is achieved by an extra-large bearing surface between the hub and dropouts, an extremely torsionally rigid axle as well as broadly supported spokes. Predictive Steering components are only compatible with Rock Shox RS-1 suspension forks.
Tubeless ready rims are designed for use with tubeless kits and tires. They allow a correct fit of the tubeless rim tape (use matching model!) And the tubeless tire.
The welding process produces the most precise, lightest and most stable rim joint. After welding, the joint is plastered to achieve a seamless transition.
